The lovely Adrianne Marie Curry was born August 6, 1982, in Joliet, Illinois. As a young girl, she had dreams of becoming an international fashion model. Conflicting with her dreams, Adrianne had a rather grim reality in her youth. Adrianne became addicted to heroin and cocaine at an early age, and dropped out of high school in 2000 when she was only a junior.
Adrianne managed to complete her GED, but she spent the next three years taking on a variety of part-time jobs, working as a telemarketer, a Hooters waitress and so on. She still had a strong passion to model, and that passion remained her sole constant in a fluctuating life. Finally, Adrianne ran into some luck in 2003, when she applied to become a contestant on America’s Next Top Model.
The TV show became an essential platform to showcase Adrianne’s complete beauty, and after all was said and done, she took home the crown. The show practically made her an instant celebrity, but she wanted to achieve more, as what was promised from the show wasn’t quite delivered.
“The show didn’t put any money into us,” Adrianne said.
“I was supposed to get a Revlon contract, but that fell through. It was a wake-up call. I realized people will lie and walk all over you for self-gain if you’re not careful.”
Adrianne moved on and landed presitigious campaignsfor Macy’s and Merit Diamonds. Additionally, she landed appearances on many magazines, such as People, Stuff, Marie Claire and Maxim.
Although she wasn’t very satisfied with the result of her first brush with reality TV, she appeared on VH1′s the Surreal Life, in 2005. She kept her career pumping with this reality TV show, and also met her significant other, former Brady Bunch star Christopher Knight. The two sparked, and branched off to star in their own spin-off called My Fair Brady.
Things started to take off for Adrianne in 2006. She tied the knot with Christopher Knight, appeared in Ballbreakers, Hot Properties and Lingerie Bowl. She even posed nude for the February issue of Playboy. Adrianne also starred in a big-screen film entitled Fallen Angels, a horror film starring Michael Dorn.
She escaped the spotlight in 2007, but re-emerged in 2008 in a thriller called Jack Rio. Adrianne became a panelist judge for another reality program, this one done by the Playstation Network, called the Tester.
Recently, Adrianne promoted her new show, where there are rumors that the show focuses on tales about her sex life, as she spilled on the Howard Stern show in mid-May 2011. Fingers crossed.
Displaying a steel strive, Adrianne joked, “I’m gonna beat on Victoria’s Secret’s and Sports Illustrated’s doors till they get restraining orders on me!”
